Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
should prohibit commiting configuration and other instance values. Another way to fix would be to actually move everything that's not strictly code out of the repo (TBD)
